Station #1: What is Matter?
Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space.
Matter is made up of tiny particles called atoms.
The three common states of matter are solid, liquid, and gas.

Directions:
1. Use the information above to complete the top of page 1 in your booklet.
2. Write the names of the three most common states of matter in the three spaces on the left of page 1.
3. Find an example of each of the three states of matter somewhere in the school and take a picture of it using your device. (You will download these later and paste them into the appropriate space on page 1).
4. When you are done, choose your next station.
